We are seeking a hands-on Superintendent who takes ownership of the jobsite, drives the schedule, and holds trades accountable in a demanding South Florida construction environment.
The Role
The Superintendent is responsible for day-to-day field execution of assigned projects, from mobilization through closeout. This is not a passive role. You will be expected to lead the site, enforce standards, and proactively solve problems before they become costly.
You will work closely with Project Managers, subcontractors, inspectors, and ownership to ensure projects are built safely, on schedule, and to plan.
Key Responsibilities
Lead all on-site construction activities from start to finish
Enforce project schedules and daily/weekly work plans
Coordinate and manage subcontractors and self-performed work
Maintain jobsite safety, cleanliness, and organization
Conduct daily site walks and quality control inspections
Coordinate inspections with city, county, and third-party inspectors
Review drawings and specifications to anticipate conflicts
Communicate clearly with Project Managers regarding progress, issues, and manpower
Enforce company standards for workmanship and professionalism
Maintain accurate daily reports, photos, and documentation
Drive punch list completion and closeout activities
