As Vice President and Chief Architect, Siebel Systems, Doug was responsible for overall corporate technology direction across major product lines including Enterprise CRM (on-premise), CRM OnDemand (hosted), Teller/Internet Banking, eDocs/Self Service, UAN, and Nexus (next generation SOA based application architecture) — a portfolio of products that generated $500M/year in license revenue and involved 400+ global engineers and 150+ product managers. Prior to Siebel, Doug was at Symantec where he developed enterprise strategy and was the Chief Architect of Norton Enterprise Framework. Doug also held senior engineering and software roles at Central Point Software and Hewlett-Packard. Doug has a B.S. in Computer Science from Duke University and an Executive MBA from Stanford University Business School.
