This role is ideal for a mechanically skilled, customer-focused technician who thrives in the field. You'll be responsible for ensuring the performance and reliability of TARGAN's advanced chick sexing equipment, directly supporting broiler hatcheries in Tangent, as well as other hatcheries in the area.
What You'll Do
Perform preventive maintenance and emergency repairs on TARGAN's chick sexing equipment during overnight hours.
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair complex electro-mechanical systems.
Train hatchery staff on the proper operation and maintenance of TARGAN systems.
Maintain accurate service reports, parts inventory records, and customer communication logs.
Partner with engineering and research teams to provide field performance feedback and suggest improvements.
What We're Looking For

JOB SUMMARY

Sample pick-up on a planned schedule according to customer requirements
Maintain storage of samples in accordance with established SOP's
Ensure legal documentation is complete and accurate (i.e.; Chain of Custody Forms)
Maintain regular communication with internal management regarding samples, schedules, customer requirements, problems, delays, and/or complaints
Observe all applicable roadway laws
Maintain the cleanliness of the Company vehicle
Maintain accurate logs, records and other documentation as required
Prepare sample containers to be delivered and used by customers to collect samples

Set up and operate sample collection instrumentation
Provide technical assistance to customers within realm of capabilities; or refer to senior management

What you'll be doing
Move and inspect medical products within Baxter service centers, healthcare facilities, and private homes. Load and unload Baxter product and maneuver the medical equipment within truck beds.
Troubleshoot and evaluate any needed repairs. Perform routine cleaning & preventative maintenance on Baxter products.
Provide on-call coverage, up to 24/7 basis including weekends and holidays, which may require customer account visits.
Navigate electronic devices like smart phone, tablet, or PC to enter in or acquire information.
Demonstrate how to use Baxter product to hospital staff, caregivers, and other participants.
Sustain a clean and safe work environment, including 5S activities (sort, set in-order, sweep, standardize and sustain).
Safely operate a company vehicle ranging in size from a cargo van up to a 26,000-pound truck.
Ability to lift and carry up to 65 pounds using appropriate processes, including proper safety and ergonomic procedures.
Must wear proper PPE including safety shoes, eye protection, gloves, and protective clothing. Gloves supplied include both latex and non-latex materials. Complete all required safety and compliance modules and medical testing.
