The Patient Service Center Representative II is responsible for creating a positive patient experience by accurately and efficiently handling the day-to-day operations relating to both Financial Clearance and Scheduling of a patient. This includes adherence to department policies and procedures related to verification of eligibility/benefits, pre-authorization requirements, available payment options, financial counseling and other identified financial clearance related duties in addition to full scheduling duties. Upon occasion, the PSC REP II may be only assigned to complex pre-registration. The PSC REP II is expected to develop a thorough understanding of assigned function(s).
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Include the following. Others may be assigned.
Completes both scheduling functions and registration functions with the patient for an upcoming visit during one call:
* Scheduling: Responsible for timely scheduling, provide callers with important information related to their appointment (i.e. Prep information for test, directions, order management etc.)
* Financial Clearance: up to and including verifying patient demographic, insurance information and securing payment of patients financial liability/performing collection efforts
* If assigned to Order Management: verifies order is complete and matches scheduled procedure. Includes indexing and exporting physicians orders to correct account number.
If assigned to complex Pre-Reg:
* Collect and verify required patient demographic and financial data elements, including determining a patient's financial responsibility and securing pre-payment for future services/performing collection efforts
* Create a complete pre-registration account for an upcoming inpatient/surgical admission
* Completes all pre-certification requirements by obtaining authorization from insurer and/or healthcare facility
* Other duties as assigned based on departmental needs

The Staff Radiation Therapist in the Radiation Oncology Department applies ionizing radiation to a diverse population of patients in accordance with the prescription and instructions of the Radiation Oncologist. This leader will oversee the Emergency Department at Wellstar Columbia County Medical Center.
The Director of Nursing is a registered professional nurse who provides leadership and management of a specific service line through the application of advanced competencies in communication; job knowledge, professionalism and business skills. The Senior Technologist must meet all requirements of the procedural job code: knowledge of the X-ray equipment in use, hemodynamic monitoring, coronary and peripheral anatomy, sterile technique and knowledgeable of all inventory items and equipment in the department.
Requirements:
1. The Senior Cath Lab Radiologic Technologist must be an active, effective preceptor for new associates and students.
2. Competent to scrub and circulate all coronary cases including complex PCI and brachytherapy; Ventricular assist devices (IABP, IMPELLA and ECMO); all peripheral vascular cases including venous procedures (IVC reconstruction) and all Structural Heart Procedures including aortic and mitral valves and ASD/PFO. Must rotate through all labs including the HVL at least twice a month.

Job Summary and Qualifications
Seeking a Patient Care Representative like you who provides expertise and to be a champion of patient care. We are an amazing team that works hard to support each other and are seeking a phenomenal addition like you who feels patient care is as meaningful as we do.
What you will do in this role:
* Checks-in patients in a timely manner. Ensures all Web Check-in procedures are followed
* Answers phone calls to the clinic and provides information or refers questions to others as needed
* Verifies insurance timely and accurately
* Ensures the occupational client's preference card is followed and occupational procedures
* Reviews all patient paperwork to ensure completeness and insures collection of necessary insurance / demographic information
* Completes Daily Balance Checklist after each shift. Includes all forms of payment are accounted for and documented
What Qualifications you will need:
* 1 year of clinical experience in a patient care setting is preferred
* Obtain BLS certification within 30 days of start required
* Strong customer service skills
* Ability to work with multiple computer programs
