Teton Science Schools company history timeline
In the summer of 1967, Ted began an experiment to expand the classroom into the outdoors.
In 1974 Starratt died and the now-popular New Elbo Ranch would come to an end.
His vision was realized with the new lease at what is known today as the Kelly Campus of the Teton Science Schools (TSS). The campus was first used for TSS’s Graduate Program, which expanded to include the Journeys School in 2001.
Jeff moved to Jackson in 2015 to work with the Teton Science Schools and has worked as a field instructor and wildlife guide.
In 2019, Helen moved to Jackson and began working for Teton Science Schools as a Field Instructor, marrying her passions for science and the natural world with her experiences leading in outdoor education.
