Opportunity: Grow Your Career
Responsible for maintaining a clean and organized store environment with a focus on floor care. Responsibilities include the operation of the scrubber and buffer, dust mopping, damp mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, and spot cleaning glass and windows. Adheres to all operational, merchandise, and loss prevention standards. Cross-trained to work in multiple areas of the store in order to support the needs of the business.

* Engages customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services. Resolves customer issues and answers questions to ensure a positive customer experience.
* Models and shares customer service best practices with all team members to deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience, including interpersonal habits (e.g., greeting, eye contact, courtesy, etc.) and Walgreens service traits (e.g., offering help proactively, identifying needs, servicing until satisfied, etc.).
Operations
* Learn from store, pharmacy, district manager, competitors and customers/patients
* Engage in a kick-off and day of service activity
* Responsible and accountable for registering all related sales on assigned cash register, including records of scanning errors, price verifications, items not on file, price modifications, and voids.
* Assists manager or assistant store manager in reviewing order exceptions on order release day and assists in reverse logistics (e.g., 1506, returns, empty package).
* Learns to analyze inventory trends and supervises inventory management, including ordering items, keeping stock, and liquidating stock and leveraging company resources to avoid outs and overstock.
* Assists manager or assistant store manager in evaluating and developing displays, including promotional, seasonal, super structures, and sale merchandise. Completes resets and revisions.
* Engage in weekly meetings with store manager or pharmacy manager
* Responsible for basic department pricing and making daily price changes; ensures proper signage is displayed at the store to support accurate pricing of products. Ensures any additional pricing tasks related to local regulations and/or regulatory compliance programs are completed accurately and within the required time frame.
* Assists with exterior and interior maintenance by ensuring clean, neat, orderly store condition and appearance, including requesting store or system repairs as required in manager absence, or as requested by manager.
* Assists with separation of food items (e.g., raw foods from pre-cooked) and product placement as specified by policies/procedures (e.g., raw and frozen meats on bottom shelves). For consumable items, assists in stock rotation, using the first in, first out method and restock outs.
* Has working knowledge of store systems and store equipment.
* Receives exposure to the analysis of financial & performance data for the store, pharmacy and clinic and to the analysis of asset protection data and action plans to reduce loss.
* Ensures compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products (e.g., alcoholic beverages and tobacco products).
* Work as a group to complete the Intern Team Challenge and present to area, district and store leaders
* Complies with all company policies and procedures; maintains respectful relationships with coworkers.
* Complete evaluation of internship program upon completion.

Basic Qualifications

A Home Depot Installation Services (HDIS) Design Consultant is responsible for selling the Company's exterior and interior product and services to customers. The Design Consultant's primary responsibility is outside sales visits to customer homes and trade shows. Although sales efforts and incidental activities may take place at a customer's home or through virtual channels, a Design Consultant will spend the majority of his or her working time traveling and away from a dedicated office environment. Design Consultants will travel to customer's homes to make sales calls, assess customer needs, make individually-tailored product recommendations , develop and negotiate customized price quotes, present warranty information and financial options that meet the customer's needs and maintain/drive profitability. The Design Consultant will also complete required sales contracts and paperwork, and take measurements using industry standard methods to ensure orders meet required installation specifications. The Design Consultant is responsible for proactively soliciting and acquiring new customers inside assigned THD stores and during industry events (such as Home Shows). To drive sales and increase the pipeline of potential customers, a Design Consultant will travel to their assigned stores, maintain local relationships, educate store associates on HDIS offerings, and bring awareness to HDIS programs.

Job Description:
Opportunity: Grow Your Career
Responsible for maintaining a clean and organized store environment with a focus on floor care. Responsibilities include the operation of the scrubber and buffer, dust mopping, damp mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, and spot cleaning glass and windows. Adheres to all operational, merchandise, and loss prevention standards. Cross-trained to work in multiple areas of the store in order to support the needs of the business.
* Role models established customer experience practices with internal and external customers
* Supports and embodies a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect
* Maintains all floor care cleanliness standards including the maintenance and operation of the scrubber and buffer
* Maintains all organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards for the entire store, e.g. Sales Floor, Single Queue, Associate Lounge, Backroom and Restrooms
* Adheres to all company policies concerning Health and Safety (includes the refilling of all essential items in the Lounge, Restrooms and Front End)
* Cross-trained in other areas of the store (Backroom, Front End, Sales Floor, etc.)
* Supports and responds to all Front End coverage needs
* Adheres and upholds merchandising philosophy and signage standards
* Initiates and participates in store recovery as needed throughout the day
* Adheres to all operational and loss prevention controls in accordance with company guidelines and policies including shrink reduction
* Communicates accurately and effectively with management and Associates
* Adheres to all labor laws, policies, and procedures, including Associate meal and break period policies
* Participates in safety awareness maintains a safe environment

Store - BALT-ELDERSBURG, MD The District Director is responsible for leading and developing a district of retail stores to achieve sales, profit, and operational goals while fostering a positive and engaging experience for both team members and customers. This role requires a results-driven leader who can build high-performing store teams, drive business growth, and ensure operational excellence across all locations.
Major Activities
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead, coach, and develop Store Managers to deliver sales targets, customer satisfaction goals, and operational excellence.
* Drive business growth by analyzing sales trends, identifying opportunities, and implementing strategic initiatives across the district.
* Champion a positive team member experience by cultivating a culture of recognition, engagement, and accountability.
* Partner with cross-functional teams (operations, HR, LP, merchandising, marketing, etc.) to align on business priorities and execution.
* Monitor store performance through key metrics (sales, payroll, inventory, customer feedback, etc.) and take action to address gaps.
* Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and operational standards.
* Lead by example through regular store visits, providing hands-on support and feedback to Store Managers and teams.
