It provides its tank truck carrier services to chemical manufacturers, and manufacturers of bulk liquid food products. Transport Service Co. was founded in 1946 and is based in Oak Brook, Illinois. It has terminals in Carrollton, Kentucky; Plaquemine, Shreveport, and Geismar, Louisiana; Loudon, Memphis, and Kingsport, Tennessee; Midland, Michigan; Central (Decatur) and Midwest (Joliet), Illinois; Parker, Pennsylvania; Nederland, Freeport, and Pasadena, Texas; Butner, North Carolina; Cocoa, Florida; Dayton, Ohio; Lafayette, Indiana; and Tampa, Florida. As of March 4, 2008, Transport Service Co. operates as a subsidiary of The Kenan Advantage Group, Inc.
