GENERAL SUMMARY & SCOPE
The Arch Expert (AE) is responsible for maximizing sales in the Benefit brand by engaging guests to determine their individual needs, assisting guests in the selection and purchase of merchandise and performing short services, including eyebrow/facial waxing and tinting. THE IMPACT YOU CAN HAVE:
As an Equipment Operator at Ulta Beauty, you will ensure the safe transport of product throughout the distribution center, making the center a model of productivity, efficiency and reliability for the greater Ulta Beauty enterprise. Machinery includes standup forklifts, order selectors, reach trucks, powered pallet jacks and dock stockers. Tasks are most typically completed through the use of an RF scanner.
You will accomplish all of these goals by:
* Operating powered industrial trucks (PIT) as listed above (will certify on equipment)
* Performing daily checks on equipment prior to operating
* Following all safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment, including: hazard recognition, housekeeping, accident and near miss reporting, proper use of all safety equipment and procedures and adherence to all safety rules
* Reporting faulty equipment, damage to company property including racks, and other safety hazards to supervisor
* Accurately picking/packing orders using established work practices
* Restocking picking bins
* Accurately sorting, counting and receiving all merchandise
* Safely moving product to and from pallet racks with powered material handling equipment
* Safely working with conveyors to accurately build pallets of cartons for shipment

* Organizing warehouse storage space effectively
* Adhering to all safety, quality and production standards
* Using a scanner to direct work (pick, pack, receive, move)

* Safely lifting and/or moving boxes, product or equipment weighing up to 50 pounds repeatedly
* Consistently lifting, bending, standing, walking, stooping and kneeling; occasionally crouching, crawling and climbing stairs during an 8-hour or 10-hour shift and during extended overtime shifts, as needed
* Using close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision and depth perception while performing warehouse functions
* Working overtime as determined by business needs during the week and/or weekends

THE ESSENTIALS FOR SUCCESS:
Qualified candidates will be self-motivated and dependable individuals who are 18+ years of age with the ability to successfully complete training and obtain certification in the assigned area (to include specific equipment certification). Additional requirements include:
* Solid math skills, including the ability to accurately add, subtract, multiply and divide
* A high school diploma or GED; 1 year or more related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience are preferred, but not required

Help prepare patients for surgical and dental procedures and assist doctor and/or veterinary technician in anesthetizing patients. Under supervision of the veterinarian and/or veterinary technician, assistants will maintain patients safely under anesthesia while monitoring vital parameters, help monitor patients during recovery and prepare them for hospital discharge or transfer to an overnight care facility.
Under supervision of the veterinarian and/or veterinary technician, perform in-hospital treatments for sick patients including giving injectable and oral medications as well as intravenous fluid therapy; keep patients clean, watered, and fed (when indicated and directed by doctor), safely walk canine patients when necessary for elimination.
Under direction of the HOM/HLOD, assist in the training of new staff members and general dissemination of knowledge as required.
Keep hospital environment neat and clean; perform regular cleaning of environment based on necessity as well as based on a pre-determined maintenance schedule.

Nature of Supervision

1. Utilizes RF systems to pick merchandise and ensures accurate and prompt packing for shipment. Monitors WMS Warehouse Management System for tasks released and reviews shipping priority schedules and assigns allocated shipments by priority into the automated EMS Dematic systems. Works with peers to focus resources when picks are released containing high "pick" pallet/case counts to ensure timely task completion. Communicates with Coordinator or Team Lead when task demand is low to repurpose and effectively utilize resources.
2. Performs daily cycle counts using MKBS to ensure inventory accuracy. Reports cycle count inconsistencies, conducts systems searches to determine cause of inventory discrepancies and follows up with inventory control to make the necessary corrections to inventory. Conducts the scheduled monthly and quarterly counts with Inventory control and internal audit. Acts as a resource for any questions, issues or follow ups regarding inventory accuracy.
3. Monitors and executes requests from quality, Distribution Assembly or other operations customers to retrieve, re-stock or deliver materials needed for sampling or kit assembly.
4. Performs various related warehouse duties as assigned dependent upon staffing shortages or task requirements.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Education High school diploma.
Experience 3+ years warehouse shipping experience. PIT Certification required.
1. Ability to perform successfully in a team-oriented, time-sensitive, proactive and multi-cultural environment with co-workers and supervision. Must effectively communicate warehouse functions and interpret operational procedures. Must be able to work with direct supervision.
