As the Patrol Officer, you will need to be comfortable skillfully assisting the ESU campus through community-oriented policing. You will be an active member of the University Police team and will work closely with the Chief of Police to promote the safety and security of all campus community members. You will thrive in this role if you like combining your law enforcement and interpersonal skills all while interacting with the student population enhancing their ESU experience. To be successful in this role, you must have previous police officer experience, connect professionally with university students to solve issues, along with remaining calm and alert in stressful situations. Your training work schedule will cover 3 shifts: however, upon successful completion of training, your normal hours will be 4:00 PM to 12:00 AM on a 5-week rotation. You may have to flex your schedule from time to time based on the needs of the business to be a true Patrol Officer. Uses weapons, handcuffs, and minimum amount of physical force to maintain discipline and order among inmates in situations which necessitate. Learns names and identification numbers, and recognizes faces of problem inmates, by observing and receiving information from other officers so that such persons can be closely observed. Briefs officers on incoming shift as to unusual activities and inmate status. On reporting to work, attends shift briefings and reads bulletins issued by the department or institution to keep abreast of changes in policies/regulations, and to receive work assignments. Directs inmates in housekeeping duties in the cell block area such as sweeping/mopping of floors, making beds, and dusting/vacuuming to maintain sanitary conditions. * An employee assigned to this title shall perform a majority, but may not perform all, of the duties listed in this . Conversely, minor level duties performed on the job may not be listed. The duties listed above are intended only as illustrations of the various types of work that may be performed. Knowledge of first aid treatment. Knowledge of recreational activities utilized in an institutional setting. Ability to cope with crisis situations. Ability to react to emergency situations and use physical force necessary to defend oneself and others. Ability to follow orders explicitly. Ability to write concise and accurate reports and correspondence. Ability to empathize with persons of different backgrounds. Ability to effectively and respectfully communicate with inmates, co-workers, and the public both verbally and in writing. Ability to perform simple mathematic calculations, i.e. calendar dates for entry/release, counting money, and maintenance of inmate inventory. Ability to utilize various types of electronic and manual recording and information systems, as well as equipment used by the agency, office, or related units. Ability to operate and drive a motor vehicle. Ability to qualify and use firearms properly. Ability to use fingerprint machine, handcuffs, and shackles/body belt. Ability to read, write, speak, understand, or communicate in English sufficiently to perform the duties of this position. We're seeking an OT Security Specialist | Technical Lead to build our OT security program from the ground up. This is a greenfield role with direct access to the VP of Cybersecurity and CISO, and the chance to influence how one of the most advanced metal payment card manufacturing facilities in the world secures its future. The OT Security Specialist will be expected to work on-site five days a week in our Somerset, NJ office. Key Responsibilities: * Immediate Priorities * Secure production HSMs and key management systems for EMV/NFC personalization * Implement IT/OT network segmentation * Deploy effective OT monitoring/detection systems * Write and test OT-specific incident response playbooks * Ongoing Responsibilities * Evaluate AI/ML and Web3 initiatives for security risk * Lead OT incident response and conduct forensics * Maintain compliance with NIST SP 800-82, IEC 62443, PCI DSS * Present OT security posture and risks to senior leadership * Influence and design the scaling of a future OT security team Qualifications: * Required * A minimum of 5 years (or more) in cybersecurity with significant OT/ICS experience * Direct experience with HSMs and cryptographic key management * OT IR and forensics expertise * Ability to communicate complex risks clearly to non-technical audiences * Preferred * Payment card or secure manufacturing background * Experience securing AI/ML and Web3 systems * GICSP, CISSP, or CISM certifications * Track record of program-building in OT environments CompoSecure is growing fast, and we're aiming to be in the top 5% of the most secure manufacturers in the world.
