Part-Time The Event Security Officer is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of event venues, staff, performers, and attendees. Minimum Qualifications: Minimum Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:• High School graduate or GED equivalent.• Minimum age of 18 at time of hire.• Possess/maintain certification in First Aid and CPR OR have the ability to obtain/maintain certification within 6 (six) months of employment.• Possess/maintain a valid Driver's License with a safe driving record.• Demonstrated ability to lift and position injured persons and render emergency aid.• Demonstrated ability to execute defensive maneuvers to protect self and others.• Demonstrated ability to move freely around campus.• Demonstrated ability to maintain high levels of honesty and integrity.• Discreet with confidential information.• Strong interpersonal skills to deal effectively with students, staff, faculty, visitors and public safety agencies.
