    Unarmed Security Guard - Hospital (Colorado Springs) Compensation: $21.10/hr (5% annual increase) Job Type: W-2 Zona Facta is seeking experienced and dependable unarmed security guards to provide professional security and patrol services at a hospital in CO Springs. Guards will maintain a safe and secure environment for veterans, staff, and visitors in accordance with federal standards and relevant security procedures. This role demands exceptional professionalism, attention to detail, and commitment to the mission of serving those who served. Key Responsibilities: Provide physical security by patrolling assigned areas, maintaining alertness for unsafe or unlawful conditions, and reporting violations to on-site Police. Maintain access control - verify identification, keycards, and visitor credentials in accordance with the client's policy. Conduct foot patrols and facility checks following established post orders and client SOPs. Maintain continuous communication with on-site police regarding incidents, safety hazards, or emergency conditions. Assist with traffic control, directing drivers to authorized parking areas and reporting violations. Support emergency procedures, including evacuations, lockdowns, and crowd control, as directed by on-site police or facility management. Enforce smoking area compliance and other facility conduct policies. Participate in emergency drills and follow all post-specific training requirements. Prepare and maintain accurate activity and incident reports, ensuring timely submission per site protocol. Represent Zona Facta and the client with the highest degree of professionalism and courtesy. Qualifications: Minimum 18 years of age and eligible to work in the U.S. Valid Colorado Springs Guard Card - compliance with local and state licensing laws required. Minimum 2 years of security experience, preferably in healthcare, government, or public-facing environments. No felony or misdemeanor convictions related to drugs, weapons, theft, or violence within the last 10 years. Must successfully pass a federal background screening prior to assignment. Strong communication, observation, and de-escalation skills. Professional demeanor, grooming, and adherence to the client's appearance and conduct standards. Ability to stand and patrol for extended periods (up to 10 consecutive hours). Must complete required OSHA safety and fire prevention training. Reliable transportation and punctuality are mandatory. Uniform and Equipment: Zona Facta will provide approved unarmed security uniforms in accordance with client standards (black ZF Polo, khaki trousers, black belt, and black boots/tactical shoes). Guards must maintain a clean, professional appearance at all times. All issued equipment must be safeguarded and properly returned at the end of the contract or post assignment. Compensation and Contract: Hourly rate: $21.10/hr. Monday-Friday, 07:00-18:00 (excluding federal holidays) No overtime anticipated; adherence to client schedules required.
