The Campus Security Officer provides general security, public safety and other customer services to the college community. Officers are expected to perform general duty security work to protect life and property, enforce laws and ordinances, and maintain order. Officers patrol the campus on foot and in a vehicle; conduct security inspections, building lockups and escorts for community members; respond to incidents, accidents, and other emergencies and are responsible for administering CPR and First Aid; respond to fire and intrusion detection alarms, taking action as required; and assisting motorists with dead batteries and other issues.
