Responsibilities:

⢠Perform thorough and accurate documentation of access control activities, incidents, and security logs.
⢠Assist in the development and implementation of security measures to improve access control processes and protocols.
⢠Provide outstanding customer service by professionally interacting with personnel, visitors, and clients while maintaining security standards.
⢠Maintain strict confidentiality and professionalism when handling classified or sensitive information.
⢠Participate in security training programs to stay updated on industry best practices and procedures.
⢠Comply with all company policies, federal regulations, and security clearance requirements at all times.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Top-Secret security clearance.
High school diploma or equivalent; additional relevant security certifications or training is a plus.
Proven experience as an Access Control Officer or in a related security role.
Must be able to stand and conduct screening activities with handheld detectors/devices for extended periods of time (up to 12 hours) - Please note that employees are given breaks
Must be able to conduct routine foot patrols (inside and out) in all weather conditions. In many instances by themselves. Patrols at many/most sites can take up to 2-hours to conduct/complete throughout an 8 to 12-hour shifts.
In-depth knowledge of access control systems, physical security protocols, and security technologies.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise security procedures.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with personnel, visitors, and clients professionally.
Must be able to handle stress associated with client/vendor interfaces and disputes regarding screening/wanding standards and able to enforce standard operating procedures to stop an entrant into the facilities from bringing prohibited items and materials into the workplace
Ability to work independently, make decisions under pressure, and prioritize tasks effectively.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Ability to hold over their scheduled shift to maintain critical, minimum staffing levels if required.
Physical fitness and ability to perform periodic patrols and standing for extended periods.
Strong ethics, integrity, and commitment to maintaining a secure and confidential environment.

Supervises trustees or prisoners on general work details inside or outside of jail; performs general maintenance of jail facility and environs; repairs safety and security devices; cleans and sanitizes cells; maintains inmate recreation area and equipment.

As a SecurityOfficer, you help keep our resort safe, secure, and welcoming. This role blends security responsibilities with hospitality focused service, ensuring our guests, team members, and property are protected while creating a friendly and supportive environment. What You'll Do as a SecurityOfficer:
Serve as the first responder to police, fire, and medical incidents within the scope of SecurityOfficer duties.
Maintain a visible, uniformed security presence across assigned resort areas.
Control access at designated entry and exit points.
Monitor security systems, including surveillance cameras and fire alarm panels, in compliance with legal and company requirements.
Conduct routine safety and security inspections following established procedures.
Maintain accurate security records, logs, and checklists.
Prepare clear, timely, and detailed incident reports using computer systems and email.
Assist guests and team members with security related concerns and service requests
Manage lost and found inventory, key control, and accountability.
Perform traffic control, parking enforcement, assist public safety officers, and complete other duties as assigned.

What You Will Bring as a SecurityOfficer:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
Previous experience in security, law enforcement, military, or a related field is preferred (minimum of 1 year), but not required.
Certificates in First Aid, CPR and AED highly preferred but not required.
Prior hospitality or guest service experience strongly preferred.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency with basic computer systems used to complete reports, logs, and email communication.
Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure or emergency situations.
Excellent judgment, integrity, and attention to detail.
Requirements:
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Must be able to lift 50lbs.
Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
Required to pass a background check, drug test and motor vehicle record (MVR) check.
Required to provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States
Requires physical stamina and the ability to work indoors and outdoors, remain on your feet for extended periods, climb stairs, and move quickly for short distances as needed

Job Description
The current schedule for this position is a 9/80 schedule 7:30 am - 5:00 pm, Monday - Friday, with every other Monday off.
Under general supervision, to perform a variety of duties both in the office and in the field. Specific duties may include interaction with the public, computer data entry, investigation and reporting of ordinance violations, and general assistance to city personnel as determined.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Identifies and enforces city zoning regulations and applicable codes. Responds to complaints of code violations and contacts citizens to achieve compliance.
Coordinates code enforcement activities with other city departments and personnel.
Conduct property inspections in accordance with the city ordinances.
Maintains accurate logs and reports of all complaints received and all violations viewed.
Prepares all necessary documents and inputs all ordinance cases in the computer program.
Prepares cases for the courts and appears as needed.
Provides educational information to citizens through handouts, presentations, and in one-on-one conversations.
Attends training and information meetings concerning community programs.
Follows all safety procedures for operation of all equipment and vehicles used.
Receives information from citizens in person, by telephone, and in writing. Ensures that information is properly distributed to the appropriate person(s).
Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education: High school diploma or GED. One year of college in criminal justice field preferred.
Experience: Two years of customer service experience dealing with conflict resolution and handling customer complaints, oral presentations, and report writing. Law enforcement experience preferred.
