Patrol Proficiency: Conduct thorough and systematic vehicle and bike patrols throughout the park, covering all areas to detect and deter potential security threats effectively.
Collaborative Approach: Foster strong partnerships with on-duty law enforcement personnel, facilitating seamless cooperation and coordination in maintaining park security and responding to incidents.
Dispatch Operations (as needed): Demonstrate proficiency in managing communications and resources as a dispatch operator when required, orchestrating responses and resolutions during emergencies with skill and composure.
Task Completion: Embrace a proactive attitude towards task completion, readily taking on any additional assignments delegated by management with dedication and efficiency.

Qualifications:
Must be at least 18 years of age
Must be available to work overnight from 12A.M. - 8A.M

Provide security protection for all Client and PGI personnel and property within the assigned area of responsibility.

Respond to alarms in accordance with established post orders.
Experience in access control, video surveillance, and intrusion detection software applications
Assist in controlling physical and electronic locks and unlocking and locking doors and areas.
Perform testing and other inspection services related to access control including performing routine inspections and testing of alarms, locks, doors, monitoring systems and other access control mechanisms.
Prevent theft of physical or intellectual property
Assist in promoting communication and awareness of data center security policies to client employees, vendors, contractors, and others.

Required Qualifications:
A minimum of one (1) year of security, or one year of local, state, or federal law enforcement experience; or A minimum of two (2) years of honorable military service, active or reserve, in any branch of the US Armed Forces

SUMMARY
The SecurityOfficer is an integral part of the AGIF-NVOP organization and will be working primarily with the homeless veteran population. Our SecurityOfficers allow us to accomplish our organization's mission, which is “to serve the needs of veterans, their families, and other needy individuals of the community”. They are responsible for the 24-hour safety and security of the residential center. The SecurityOfficer is a deterrent to criminal activity around and within the property of the facility by remaining visible and presenting a neat and professional appearance in properly worn uniform.
JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Ensures the facility security protocols are in place and always adhered to.
Works with residents in an empathetic and understanding manner.
Learns and implements verbal crisis intervention/de-escalation techniques.
Effectively conducts monthly fire and emergency drills and documents drills as required.
Maintains proficiency in the use of all assigned equipment (2-way radio, flashlight, keys, etc.).
Maintains order and acts to enforce regulations and directives of the Ryan Center pertaining to personnel, visitors, and premises.
Greets guests and employees in a professional and welcoming manner and answers phones using professional etiquette.
Answers questions and assists residents and employees.
Patrols the facility on foot every hour.
Monitors closed circuit television systems for unusual activity and any alarms.
Reports safety concerns, security breaches and unusual circumstances both verbally and in writing no later than 60 minutes after the occurrence.
Handles security issues or emergency situations in accordance with training, policies and procedures, and standards.
Responsible for adhering to security/safety training programs.
Attends all meetings and training courses as notified.
Participates in industry specific security/safety training programs to remain current and proficient.
Must maintain any applicable state, county and municipal licensing and permit requirements for Non-Commissioned SecurityOfficers as required by this position.
