    Data Archive for the BRAIN Initiative (DABI) is a shared neurodata repository where researchers from over a 100 of academic institutions store, share and analyze invasive neurophysiology datasets. Building on decades of experience creating widely-used, large-scale informatics solutions in the neurosciences, in 2018, the team behind DABI launched a new archive to ingest, aggregate, store, visualize, and disseminate human invasive neurophysiology data. DABI repository, which also houses synchronized behavioral, imaging, demographic, and other vital data, is specifically designed to help BRAIN Initiative researchers organize and analyze their data while fulfilling data-sharing directives from federal agencies and their respective institutions. USC Institute for Neuroimaging and Informatics is seeking a Resource Employee to perform the following key responsibilities: Key Responsibilities: * Develop and Maintain Software Solutions: Design, code, and maintain web applications and backend services to meet functional and technical requirements. Ensure high code quality through regular peer reviews and adherence to industry standards. * Collaborate and Communicate: Work closely with a diverse range of stakeholders to understand business needs and provide high-value software solutions. Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field. * Strong proficiency in at least one programming language. * 2+ years of industry experience in designing and building scalable APIs and backend services. * 2+ years of industry experience with frontend frameworks (React, Vue, Svelte, etc), and CSS frameworks (TailwindCSS) * Familiarity with relational databases (PostgreSQL). * Understanding of CI/CD and version control (Git). Nice to have: * Experience with Rust. * Experience with modern web APIs (e.g., REST, gRPC, WebSocket). * Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS).     Support Coordinator II serves as an intermediate-level support coordinator. As a part of the Ambulatory clinic, provides smooth outpatient flow resulting in optimum patient satisfaction and clinic operation. Responsible in coordinating multiple appointments with many multi-specialty clinical services. Participates in a variety of duties associated with daily clinic preparation process, from customer service, heavy phone answering, intake, message distribution, obtaining medical reports/imaging, procedure scheduling, encounter registration, co-pay collections, and referrals management. Performs other duties as assigned. Essential Duties: * Clerical: • Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness in entering information into computer systems. • Processes new referrals in a timely manner this includes obtaining required outside medical records, entering demographic information into computer system, providing medical records to physician / multidisciplinary team for review, verifying insurance and obtaining authorization for visits and procedures. • Schedules patient's evaluation and clinic appointments in a timely manner, and at the request of the physician, while accommodating patient's needs. This includes but not limited to: surgery scheduling, laboratories, diagnostic testing and consultations as needed. Fulfills other department scheduling functions per department procedures and protocols. • Reviews master schedule and anticipating requirements and changes based on activity levels to create a well-managed operational flow and positive patient experience. • Coordinates and schedules diagnostic testing for patients which include but not limited to sending letters of medical necessity. • Assists with the clerical and scheduling needs including filing and collection of supporting documentation for billing. • Provides phone coverage as needed. Contacts and distributes messages to medical personnel using a variety of electronic messages including text, voice, and email systems. Reads and responds to email throughout the day. Retrieves and responds to voicemail messages within 24hours per department protocol. * Patient Customer Service: • Displays courtesy, compassion, kindness and honesty while interacting with public, patients, and all clinic personnel. Greets patients in a courteous and professional manner. • Acts as a single point of contact for patients and caregivers and takes accountability for their patient experience. Provides information and guidance to patients and caregivers regarding all areas of patient care. This includes but not limited to scheduling, paperwork, and follow-up appointments. • Completes a financial risk assessment and, as indicated, provides assistance to patient/patient families regarding insurance benefits and alternative funding sources, including referral of complex financial or insurance coverage issues to financial counselors or others, such as a designated admitting representative. • Prepares estimate of patient liabilities to patients, physicians and insurance companies based on guidelines and/or systems provided by the department, including but not limited to copayment, deductibles, co-insurance, deposits, or prior account balances. • Facilitates communication between patient and caregivers, and all members of the care team, including physicians, nurses, lab, etc. Communicates all changes with patient and case information to all involved personnel.     Under the direction of the Director, the Senior Conflict Resolution Associate/Mediator serves as a staff mediator, handling a caseload of conciliation and mediation cases, mentors and supervises Loyola Law students, as appropriate and as assigned, and consults with the Director as necessary on all of the above. This position's responsibilities also includes preparation of materials, Requests for Proposals, contract reports (fiscal and program), program monitoring materials, audit materials, in conjunction with and under the direction of the Director. The Senior Conflict Resolution Associate/Mediator shall assist with the coordination of community outreach to ensure an adequate caseload for the LCCR. The person in this position reports directly to the Director of the LCCR and works closely with the Director. The Senior Conflict Resolution Associate/Mediator position must be flexible and willing to take on other duties as assigned by the Director, and be responsive to all needs of the LCCR clinical program and its non-profit community mediation program. The Loyola Center for Conflict Resolution is both a law school clinical program and a community mediation program of Loyola Law School (LLS), a non-profit 501(c)(3), ABA accredited, full-time law school, which was established in 1920, and is located in downtown Los Angeles at 919 Albany Street, on Olympic Boulevard. LLS is a part of Loyola Marymount University (LMU). LMU, LLS and the LCCR are committed to community service and non-discrimination. The LCCR was founded in 1993 specifically to provide community conflict resolution services to Los Angeles (LA) County residents, and to train and mentor Loyola Law School students to provide those services. The LCCR clinical program currently has three live clinics - the Conciliation and Mediation Assistance Clinic (C-MAC), the Dependency Court Mediation Assistance Clinic (DC-MAC) and the Collaborative Law Clinic (C-LAW). The LCCR provides a wide variety of ADR services in English and in Spanish, and in a wide variety of other languages, based on our highly diverse volunteer pool, including but not limited to, mediation, conciliation, facilitation, intake and convening problem assessment, options-counseling, information and referral, and other collateral services. The LCCR also provides communication skills training and mediation education and training to LA County residents and to law school students, who serve as volunteers. Our main training service goal is to create future community leaders by providing excellent instruction, supervision and mentoring in mediation, conciliation, communication skill sets, problem solving, and conflict resolution, and to instill a community service heart through their training and work for the LCCR. Job accountabilities include: * Meets with students through informal and formal processes to discuss reported incidents of alleged academic misconduct. Conducts investigations, when necessary, as outlined in the university's student handbook and other university policies. Determines and processes investigative plan and timeline. Identifies and interviews faculty, respondents, and witnesses, and serves as the primary case processor and point of contact for all interested parties.
