Lionsgate is seeking a highly organized and adaptable Assistant, C-Suite. This role reports directly to the Executive Assistant to the Chief Executive Officer and will provide key administrative and operational support to both the CEO and Vice Chairman, while also serving as a secondary resource to the broader C-suite executive support team. Responsibilities
Provide day-to-day administrative and operational support to the CEO and Vice Chairman under the guidance of the Executive Assistant to the CEO
Assist with managing calendars, scheduling meetings, and preparing meeting materials
Coordinate travel arrangements and itineraries as needed
Help with organizing documents, decks, reports, and incoming materials such as scripts and screenings
Support internal and external meetings by setting up in-person or virtual spaces and capturing key follow-up items
Act as a liaison and point-of-contact on behalf of the executive office when needed
Partner closely with the Executive Assistant to ensure high-level priorities and day-to-day details are aligned and executed smoothly
Provide backup support to the Executive Assistants of the C-suite, stepping in as needed to ensure continuity during busy periods or absences
Assist with ad hoc tasks and special projects across the executive team, including research, prep materials, and event support
Uphold the highest standards of professionalism and confidentiality across all responsibilities
Be available after hours for urgent, time-sensitive needs, as required
Qualifications and Skills
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration with focus in Finance, Economics, Marketing, etc.
Proficient in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Meticulous attention to detail and highly organized
Ability to multitask, manage shifting priorities, and remain calm under pressure
Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with senior-level executives
A team player with a can-do, no-task-too-small attitude and eagerness to learn from a seasoned Executive Assistant

What will I do as a Youth Worker, Facilities Support?
Receive on-the-job training, and under direct supervision participates in entry level work in one of a variety of job assignments:
Craft assignments:
Assist a more experienced worker by furnishing and using basic hand tools, materials and supplies, cleaning the work area and machinery, operating simple machines and equipment, preparing basic reports or keeping maintenance records, and performing other non-complex duties.
Institutional Support Assignments:
Assist a more experienced worker in maintaining the physical premises and/or grounds of County facilities.
Assist in transporting of patients, supplies, laboratory specimens, exhibit materials, or records; or transporting and serving meals, etc.
Issue supplies, check property and keep order in the locker or dressing rooms at a County public swimming pool; perform basic pool maintenance and ensure that first aid equipment is ready for use; monitor assigned pool area for signs of swimmers in trouble and for violations of pool and safety regulations.
General Maintenance Assignments:
Assist journey-level trade positions in performing installation work or repairs, such as replacing windows, doors and partitions, performing minor sheet metal work, making minor roof repairs, or maintaining parking lots.
Food Service Assignments:
Assist a higher-level food service worker or supervisor in performing routine kitchen duties in the preparation of food in a County facility, including a custody facility in the Sheriff's Department.
SELECTION REQUIREMENTS:
OPTION I:
Completion of 120 hours of career exposure with the County of Los Angeles Department of Human Resources' Countywide Youth Bridges Program; must be age 24 or younger at time of appointment.
OPTION II:
Completion of 300 hours of the County of Los Angeles Workforce Development, Aging and Community Services' Creating Opportunities and Real Experiences (CORE) internship career exposure program; must be age 24 or younger at time of appointment.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
The Volunteer Engagement Coordinator provides timely support services to the Volunteer Department and Food Bank Staff. Assist with the recruitment, evaluation, and orientation of existing and new volunteers.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Volunteer Relations: Recruit, schedule, and coordinate individual and group volunteers to support the Food Bank's programs and operations. Lead, train, orient, and supervise volunteers at on-site events across both volunteer facilities and off-site events such as drive-through, pop-up, and walk-up food distributions. Build strong relationships with volunteers. Provide consistent, excellent customer service to motivate volunteers to continue engaging with the Food Bank by ensuring that they have a positive experience. Maintain a volunteer management system/ database to track and report volunteer activities, such as hours completed, most recent shift attended, name of project or program, etc. Conduct and/or arrange for volunteer orientation and training. Engage in volunteer management best practices. Responsible for the Volunteer Recognition Program. Consistent engagement with volunteers to express appreciation and build rapport. Update and maintain an accurate count of individuals and groups on our Volunteer Schedule. Communicate the schedule to the volunteer team and internal teams (Operations, Programs, and Development). What will I do as a Youth Worker General Labor?
Receive on-the-job training, and under direct supervision participate in entry level work in one of a variety of job assignments.
Assist crew leaders in performing sluicing, booming, and removal of debris at dams and reservoirs.
Perform manual work in the construction, repair, and maintenance of streets or bicycle trails in flood access roads as needed.
Assist in the maintenance of drains, catch basins, curbs, gutters, head walls, and driveway aprons by tamping underlayment, mixing concrete, wheel barrowing concrete to the work site, lifting and carrying concrete blocks, and providing tools to more experienced workers.
Assist in sewer maintenance work, such as cleaning sewer lines with the use of specialized hand or power operated tools and equipment, including sewer cleaning machines, pumps, air compressors, blowers, gas detection devices, closed circuit television equipment, etc.
SELECTION REQUIREMENTS:
OPTION I:
Completion of 120 hours of career exposure with the County of Los Angeles Department of Human Resources' Countywide Youth Bridges Program; must be age 24 or younger at time of appointment.
OPTION II:
Completion of 300 hours of the County of Los Angeles Workforce Development, Aging and Community Services' Creating Opportunities and Real Experiences (CORE) internship career exposure program; must be age 24 or younger at time of appointment.
PHYSICAL CLASS:
4 - Arduous. Involves frequent heavy lifting over 25 pounds, often combined with bending, twisting, or working on irregular surfaces; and occasionally requires extraordinary physical activity.
APPLICANTS WHO HAVE BEEN PREVIOUSLY APPOINTED AS A YOUTH WORKER, GENERAL LABOR FOR MORE THAN 10 ACCUMULATIVE MONTHS WILL BE DISQUALIFIED.
Our Assessment Process:
Once we have determined that you meet the requirements, we will invite you to take a multiple-choice test of the competencies required for this job weighted at 100% which will cover:

You must meet the requirements and achieve a passing score of 70% or higher on the examination in order to be placed on the eligible register.
Once you complete the assessment, you are not able to review them per Civil Service Rule 7.19.

SENIOR SERVICES AIDE

* Continuous until filled * The ideal candidate will have reliable transportation and be able to work independently with minimal supervision. This person will travel to the homes of Carson homebound seniors to assist them with light housekeeping, chores, and errands.
DEFINITION:
Under the direct supervision of the Human Services Supervisor, provides assistance to help seniors maintain their independence at home through the Senior Services Aide program and performs related duties as required.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
(These functions are representative and may not be present in all positions in the class. Management reserves the right to add, modify, change, or rescind related duties and work assignments.)
* Runs essential errands for seniors, such as grocery store and pharmacy.
* Assists with correspondence including sorting mail, returning phone calls, delivering outgoing mail and packages to the post office.
* Performs light housekeeping such as changing linens, laundry, wiping down surfaces, and taking out the trash.
* Provides standby assistance for non-medical personal care and activities of daily living, including dressing and bathing.
* Provides reports as required.
* Performs other related duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education and/or Experience:
Graduation from high school or GED and approximately one (1) year of experience working with seniors or other vulnerable populations. A Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is preferred.
Knowledge of:
* Older adult needs, medically, socially and psychologically
* Applicable City rules and policies
Skill and/or Ability to:
* Work in the residential homes of Senior Citizens within the city performing housekeeping duties including, but not limited to dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, washing of clothing and dishes
* Work in the residential homes of Senior Citizens within the city performing personal care duties including, but not limited to showering/bathing and dressing
* Work a flexible schedule during the required hours
* Communicate in English effectively in writing and orally

License and Certificates:
