* Assist in determining best sites to direct future warehouse opportunities in based on capacity and staff
* Work with Warehouse Supervisors to ensure safety, compliance, and drive efficiencies in all sites
* Fill in for other Warehouse Supervisors during vacations or other absences

Scope:
The cell lead is expected to perform warehouse duties as well as be responsible for assisting the Warehouse and Logistics Manager with daily work assignments; directing warehouse employees; communicating with the production floor and materials/buyer department to oversee the successful flow of all inbound material. Communicates between Daleville and BV warehouse and production floor for daily production needs.
Assigns daily tasks to stockroom employees.
Handles all issues with the floor (i.e. missing/lost/faulty components)
Communicates the needs of production to the warehouse team and assigns daily duties.
Performs Data entry in Glovia system including receiving, issuing, transferring material, and marking items as shipped for transferred orders. Uses basic Microsoft, including Excel.
Oversees picked components from stock (as required by pick lists and Addendum Bill of Material, ABMs) to assemble kit up job skid.
Issues job skids to manufacturing cell leader and collects the cell leader's signature on pick lists and ABMs
Keeps records of receipts for inventory control and tracking purposes.
Responsible for inventory control, cycle counts, and inventory control for Buena Vista warehouse and Daleville facility.
Responsible for meeting every production schedule kit-up date without production requests.
Moves material using a forklift or pallet jack when needed.
Maintain work areas in a clean and orderly condition. Consistently operating efficiently while abiding by all safety rules and requirements.
Participate in any variety of meetings and work groups to integrate activities, communicate issues, obtain approvals, resolve problems, and maintain specified level of knowledge pertaining to new developments, requirements, and policies.
Perform or assist with any operations, as required to maintain workflow and to meet schedules and quality requirements.
Train new employees and/or cross train existing employees
Fill in for warehouse employees while absent - requires a strong working knowledge of processes and procedures completed within the warehouse.
Perform other related duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:
A two-year or four-year College Degree in management, business administration or related study, or two to five years of related field experience
Must have prior supervisory experience in a Distribution Center environment
Prior experience with the implementation of a new WMS preferred
Knowledge of Distribution operations (material handling equipment) and merchandise flow
Strong leadership abilities
Good communication skills both verbally and written including the ability to communicate with all levels of management
Strong interpersonal skills
Strong coaching and administrative skills
Strong mathematical and analytical skills
Ability to prioritize work based on delivery schedule
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Access) WMS, and SAP or some other payroll/HR system
