Mark was selected by the Blue Diamond Growers Board of Directors to become President and Chief Executive Officer on September 1, 2010. Under Mark’s leadership, Blue Diamond has transformed into a $1.6 billion global branded food manufacturer with sales up +225%, and even greater growth in profitability. Fueling this success was a driving sense of purpose to support the economic sustainability of the 3,000 mostly small, multi-generational farms that entrust Blue Diamond with their year’s work in the form of the almond crop. With a unique understanding of the branded retail, ingredients and food service businesses, Mark’s career achievements include leading the brand growth for Haagen-Dazs, Betty Crocker, Totino’s, Pillsbury, Red Baron, Freschetta, Blue Diamond and Almond Breeze. Prior to joining Blue Diamond, Mark was president of Schwan’s Food Service in Marshall, Minnesota, where he led the profitable turnaround of the division. He also worked for The Pillsbury Company, Edison Brothers Stores, Inc. and General Mills, Inc. Mark received his MBA in Marketing and Finance from the Kellogg School of Business at Northwestern University in 1994. Mark is 2nd Vice Chair of California Chamber of Commerce, former Chair of the Audit Committee and Chair of the International Forum, is on the Executive Council for the National Council of Farmer Cooperatives, is on the Board of Trustees for the International Nut and Dried Fruit Council, is on the Board of Trustees for the Graduate Institute of Cooperative Learning, and is a Board Member and previous Vice Chair of the Almond Board of California. Mark believes eating good food, getting regular exercise and living a healthy spiritual life are the best medicine and critical to a sense of well-being.

He has worked as Vice President - Sales & Marketing at RALCORP HOLDINGS INC, VP Operations/ Operations Manager at -X-, and Vice President Enterprise Risk at Geodis. Rodney D. Perry with 32 years of food and agribusiness experience has held the position of president and chief executive officer since April 2014. Prior to this, Mr. Perry was vice president Food and Ingredients Europe, Middle East, and Africa for Bunge. Mr. Perry joined Bunge in 2000 as sales and marketing manager of Bunge Milling and later served as vice president and general manager. In 2007, Mr. Perry took the position as vice president and general manager of Bunge Oils. In 2010, Mr. Perry held the general management position for both Bunge Oils and Canadian Oilseed Processing. Mr. Perry began his career in 1989 as a merchandiser with Archer Daniels Midland Company where he was promoted to assistant general manager within ADM’s milling division. In 1993, Mr. Perry joined ConAgra where he held various commercial management positions. Mr. Perry joined Bethel Grain Company in 1999 as a partner and also served as director of commercial activities. Mr. Perry earned a bachelor’s degree in marketing from Illinois State University in 1989 and an executive master’s degree in international business from St. Louis University in 2007. Mr. Perry has been actively involved in several industry associations and boards.

Maria Stipp is a Board Member at Stone Brewing, Independent Board Member at Siete Family Foods Inc, and Board Member at California Olive Ranch and is based in Berkeley, California. She has experience at KELLOGG CO and Miller Brewing Company and has worked as Interim Pres/Chief New Venture Ofcr at Eco ATM/Gazelle, Chief Executive Officer at Lagunitas Brewing Company, and Chief Customer Officer at Eco ATM/Gazelle. Maria attended University of Chicago Booth School of Business, University of Iowa between 1985 and 1989, and Cornell University.
