The Toledo Zoo & Aquarium has been fulfilling its mission of ensuring endangered species are maintained, researched and protected for over 100 years. As a Part Time Warehouse Assistant, you would help to and ensure we have the resources available to ensure that our animals, representing over 720 species, are well cared for and that endangered species around the world are protected with our global conservation efforts.
This role will consist of handling deliveries, inspecting and stocking merchandise, managing inventory and preparing reports and records. You'll also help maintain a clean and efficient warehouse, and interact with vendors, drivers, and team members. Being able to operate a variety of equipment, including but not limited to, trucks, forklift, stock ladders, computer, pallet lift and more is key. Whether it's running errands, assisting with special events, or contributing to daily logistics, your attention to detail and strong work ethic will make a big impact.
This position is non-exempt position under the Fair Labor Standards Act.
Minimum Training & Qualifications:
Must be 21+ years of age.
Must have a valid driver's license and be insurable by the fleet insurance carrier.
Candidates must have the physical ability to lift 45 pounds, climb up and down ladders, and work on their feet for 8 hours a day.
Ability to climb in and out of trucks in all climate types including heat, cold, rain, and snow.
Experience with data entry, balancing invoices, and receiving merchandise.
Work schedules may include weekdays, weekends, and some holidays.

Job Title: Morning Truck Unloader & Stock Organizer
Reports To: Directors / Kitchen Manager
Position Type: Part-Time / Early Morning Shifts (typically 4:00 AM - 8:00 AM, depending on delivery schedule)
Pay: $16/hr
Chick-fil-A Market of Hilliard is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Morning Truck Unloader & Stock Organizer. This position is responsible for receiving, unloading, and organizing inventory from delivery trucks in the early morning hours to ensure our kitchen is fully stocked and prepared for daily operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Receive and unload food and supply deliveries in a timely and organized manner
Accurately check delivered items against invoices to ensure all items are accounted for
Safely store and rotate stock according to FIFO (First In, First Out) standards
Organize and maintain inventory in coolers, freezers, dry storage, and paper goods areas
Keep storage areas clean, orderly, and compliant with food safety standards
Communicate any shortages, damages, or discrepancies to leadership
Operate pallet jacks or other equipment safely (if trained and required)
Work efficiently and independently in the early morning environment
Requirements:
Must be at least 18 years old
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and handle repetitive physical tasks
Early morning availability (before normal business hours)
Reliable transportation and punctuality are a must
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Willingness to work in a cold storage environment (coolers/freezers)
Ability to work with minimal supervision
Must adhere to all Chick-fil-A food safety and cleanliness standards
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience in inventory, warehouse, or stockroom work
Familiarity with food service inventory is a plus
