What do you like best about 1-800 Contacts's CEO and the leadership team?

The idea of making the process of ordering contacts/glasses as streamlined as possible for the customer and the focus on making things as easy as possible for the customer. We really made them feel like we cared.

How did you prepare for the 1-800 Contacts interview?

Researching the company culture and knowing ahead of time what may be expected of me.

How would you improve 1-800 Contacts's culture?

The company used to be lacking in diversity, although that has been improved a lot over the last several years.

It's better than it used to be with blacks and latinos being more represented within the ranks of this organization than ever before.

How does your compensation at 1-800 Contacts compare to the industry average?

The industry average is horrible, but 1-800 Contacts pays slightly above that. Unfortunately it's still not enough.

What brings you the most joy at 1-800 Contacts?

Knowing I helped our customers by making a major difference in their lives: Giving the gift of clear vision, which as a nearsighted person is important to me. It also brings me great joy knowing that my work has a national impact, reaching hundreds, if not thousands of our clients from coast to coast and beyond.
