The role involves performing DCI's (Disassemble, Clean, and Inspect) on various pumps, diagnosing faults, and documenting 'as found'/'as built' conditions with pictures, dimensional data, and dispositioning. The mechanic will use dial indicator micrometers, bore gauges, and veneer calipers, and will be responsible for performing shaft alignments with laser alignment systems and balancing impellers.
