General Information: The Department of Health Sciences in the College of Health and Behavioral Studies at James Madison University offers an engaging and dynamic Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences curriculum. The Health Sciences major is a popular major at JMU with approximately 1500 total students declared and is designed for students interested in understanding the causes of disease, strategies for promoting health, wellness, and behavior change, and the scientific basis and methodologies for analyzing health for both individuals and populations.
