POSITION: A probationary tenure-track faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor is available in the Department of Kinesiology. The department seeks a dynamic candidate with expertise in Rehabilitation Science and/or Exercise Physiology who is committed to teaching excellence and to maintaining an active research program involving both undergraduate and graduate students. This appointment carries an initial two-year probationary appointment beginning with the 2026/2027 academic year with a start date of August 18, 2026.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Earned doctorate in Rehabilitation Science, Exercise Physiology, or related area by August 18, 2026 (ABD applicants may be considered but must complete the terminal degree by the start date).
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Successful college/university teaching experience at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Evidence of professional and scholarly activity and commitment to student/faculty research at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Ability to teach core program courses and/or courses serving multiple department programs. Experience in supervising clinical students, if applicable. DEPARTMENT: The Department of Kinesiology consists of 12 faculty and instructional academic staff and approximately 720 majors and minors. Department faculty are dedicated to teaching and student learning and are actively engaged in student-faculty research. The Department is a regional leader in the preparation for pre-professional undergraduate students entering into PT, OT, and Clinical Exercise Physiology graduate programs. The Department is also recognized for community outreach programs that offer health and physical activity opportunities for individuals living in the Eau Claire area. In addition, the Department collaborates with Mayo Clinic and other clinical entities in the region to provide both clinical education and research opportunities for students.

Adjunct instructors are hired on a per course basis. Courses are taught face-to-face in classroom, lab, or clinical settings; online; or a combination of online and face-to-face.
All CVTC instructors are required to meet with students and/or attend meetings on-site on a regular basis. This means that all instructors, including online instructors, must live within driving distance of CVTC campuses. Campuses are located in Chippewa Falls, Eau Claire, Menomonie, Neillsville and River Falls, Wisconsin.
CVTC adjunct instructors are dynamic partners for both students and the College. RESPONSIBILITIES
Teach undergraduate courses in Accounting including Introduction to Financial Accounting, Corporate and Managerial Accounting and application software for spreadsheets and databases. Additional courses could include Accounting for Management Decisions, Cost Accounting and Tax Accounting. A normal teaching load is 12 credits per semester. While the focus is on teaching, there are clear expectations of scholarly research and service activities. This position may require alternative delivery methods and/or non-traditional teaching times. Academic advisement and assessment of student learning in business-related programs is also significant in this position.

The Mathematics, Statistics and Computer Science Department offers all the core courses necessary for the Cybersecurity program, the Computer Networking and Infrastructure Engineering program, the ABET-accredited Computer Science program, the Applied Mathematics and Computer Science program, as well as coursework supporting the ABET-accredited Computer and Electrical Engineering program.
Since 2017, University of Wisconsin-Stout has been designated a National Center of Academic Excellence (CAE) in Cyber Defense by the National Security Agency (NSA) and the Department of Homeland Security (DHS).
UW-Stout is the first four-year university to receive this designation in the state of Wisconsin. The NSA and DHS have certified that UW-Stout's Computer Networking and Information Technology (CNIT) curriculum meets or exceeds the requirements for CAE designation, as cited by the National Information Assurance Education and Training Program (NIETP).

The Department of Operations and Management at the University of Wisconsin-Stout invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track, Assistant Professor in Construction Management position. The anticipated start date is August 17, 2026.
The successful candidate will become part of an innovative and supportive community that prioritizes excellence in teaching and active student engagement. As a polytechnic university, we emphasize experiential learning by providing students with authentic as well as hands-on experiences in both classroom, laboratory, and industrial settings. Our program, with over 300 students, receives substantial support from alumni and major construction firms both regionally and nationally. Scholarly and service activities are supported by both internal and external grants and funds are available for professional development and student research and dissemination.
Key Job Responsibilities:
Teach face-to-face, hybrid, and online, undergraduate courses in construction management program with courses including design concepts, building information management, architectural graphics and architectural technology. In addition to teaching, all UW-Stout faculty are expected to engage in the assessment of student learning, research, and service; contribute to a positive, collaborative environment dedicated to inclusive excellence; and provide student academic advisement and conduct assessment of student learning. This includes contributing to academic program assessment, accreditation, and continuous improvement processes, in collaboration with faculty and staff.
A terminal degree (Ph.D., Ed.D., March, MFA, etc.) is required for promotion to full professor, unless by special exception process.

The Operations and Management (O&M) Department is housed in the College of Science, Technology, Engineering, Math, and Management. O&M primarily serves undergraduate majors in Management, Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Technology, Construction, and Packaging, as well as graduate majors in Training and Human Resources Development, Engineering, Risk Control and Management, and Operations and Supply Management. The department currently has 40 faculty/staff and offers more than 50 courses and 100 different sections each semester. The School of Art & Design at the University of Wisconsin - Stout invites applications for an Assistant Professor in Industrial & Product Design, with a specialization in Design Drawing, commencing August 2026. This is a tenure-track, 9-month academic year position. Since 2017, University of Wisconsin-Stout has been designated a National Center of Academic Excellence (CAE) in Cyber Defense by the National Security Agency (NSA) and the Department of Homeland Security (DHS).
UW-Stout is the first four-year university to receive this designation in the state of Wisconsin. RESPONSIBILITIES
UW-Stout is a teaching-focused campus. Faculty teach in-person, online/distance, and blended modalities, using a variety of instructional technology. Academic programs have program advisory committees comprised of alumni, employers, faculty, and staff to help inform and sustain relevant curriculum for career-ready graduates.
Responsibilities include teaching, revising, and developing marketing courses to support the Business Administration program, a Marketing minor, and general education (Stout Core) requirements. Faculty members are expected to participate in shared governance, curriculum development, recruitment, student academic advisement, scholarly research, program-level assessment of student learning, professional service activities, and continuous improvement processes, in collaboration with faculty and staff.

DEPARTMENT INFORMATION
In this position, you will be a valued member of the Business Department at the University of Wisconsin-Stout. The department houses the Business Administration and Supply Chain Management programs and prepares students for careers in a variety of industries, as well as government and non-profits.
