We seek exceptional researchers and educators whose work advances the science and practice of cybersecurity to join the Department of Computer Science or the Department of Informatics at the Luddy School. As a part of diverse community of faculty and staff who represent many faith systems and worldviews, the Department of Psychological Sciences and Counseling seeks qualified applicants for the position of full-time, Assistant Professor of Counseling who will promote our Catholic Franciscan mission and identity by teaching graduate level courses in mental health counseling and school counseling within the department with an open area of expertise including but not limited to community mental health, marriage and family therapy, child and adolescent therapy, and school counseling. This position reports to the Director of Counseling and the Dean of Arts and Sciences. This is a tenure track appointment.
The Department of Psychological Science and Counseling has both Bachelors of Science and Bachelors of Arts degrees in Psychological Science, as well as Masters of Science degrees in Mental Health Counseling and School Counseling. There are currently approximately 80 majors and 175 minors in Psychological Science, and in Counseling there are 20 in Mental Health Counseling and 20 in School Counseling.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
* Actively engage the Catholic Franciscan mission and identity of Marian University by modeling the Franciscan Sponsorship Values and honoring the legacy of the founding congregation through transformative education, unity in diversity, leadership through service, integrating faith and life, and institutional policies.
* Teach graduate level courses in counseling within the department. Teaching load: 24 credits per academic year.

Required Qualifications:

The Eugene S. Pulliam School of Journalism and Creative Media in the College of Communication at Butler University invites applications for a nine-month tenure-track assistant professorin Sports Management with an expected start date of August 2026. The successful candidate will teach in our new master's degree program in Sports Management, while also contributing to our in-person undergraduate curriculum through teaching within another area offered in the College of Communication. The candidate will bring broad knowledge in the field of Sports Management and will be able to teach several courses within the Sports Management program, including Foundations of Sports Management and the Capstone Experience. Additional courses may include Ethics and Law in Sports Management, Sports Marketing, Fundraising and Revenue Generation Strategies, Event and Facilities Management, and Amateur Sports and Compliance. The teaching load for this position is 3/3 along with research and service responsibilities.
Minimum Qualifications
A terminal degree (e.g., a Ph.D. or J.D.) in Sports Management, Sports Administration, or a related field
Potential for successful teaching of online graduate courses in Sports Management;
Potential for successfully conducting scholarly work in the area of sports management
Excellent written communication skills; and
