J. Stephen Jones MD FACS is an Editor-in-Chief of American Urological Associaton Journal Urology Practice at American Urological Association, President & CEO at Inova Health System, and Professor at University of Virginia School of Medicine and is based in Charlottesville Virginia Area. He has worked as Chairman, Department of Urological Surgery Springfield Clinic at Mercy Health and President at Cleveland Clinic. J. studied at Conway Data Inc, University of Arkansas between 1978 and 1982, and Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University between 2008 and 2010.

Raj Manocha has joined the organization as Vice President and Chief Technology Officer (CTO), reporting directly to Chief Executive Officer, Michael T. Sheppard, CPA, CAE.

Mr. Manocha is responsible for developing and driving the Association’s global technology roadmap and agenda, including the introduction of new programs relating to infrastructure and security, online and digital strategy, business analysis and project management, as well as information systems and application development.

Mr. Manocha, who brings more than 20 years of technical expertise and innovation most recently served as Director of Applications for the Maryland Department of Human Services where he developed, deployed and implemented the public-facing Total Human-services Integrated Network (MD THINK), a first-in-the-nation cloud-based platform that enables multiple state agencies to deliver integrated health and human services programs to the state’s most vulnerable residents. Prior to working for the State of Maryland, Mr. Manocha led the global technical services, delivery, and operations, at Iron Bow Technologies and for Ciber at the American Association of Retired Persons (AARP).

Patricia Banks leads the development of innovative strategies to fully engage and inform the AUA’s global membership and the patients they serve. Since joining the AUA in 2010, she has spearheaded the growth and expansion of the AUA’s marketing, communications, publications, industry relations, and member services teams. As the Association’s Chief Marketing Officer, she draws on more than 20 years of diverse experience in the marketing, communications, industry relations, and publishing sectors to ensure the AUA’s public outreach, publications, and member services are the best in class.

Ms. Banks holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Barry University and a Master’s degree in International Political Economy from the London School of Economics & Political Science. She is a Certified Professional Coach from iPEC (Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching) and holds a certificate in Leadership Coaching for Organizational Performance from George Mason University.

Sharon Stover MBA SPHR SHRM SCP is a Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer at American Urological Association and is based in Linthicum Heights, Maryland. She has worked as Director Human Resources at The Living Legacy Foundation; Director of Human Resources at American Urological Association; and Manager, Human Resources at First American CMSI. Sharon works or has worked as Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) at CASA of Harford County and Mentor at Everwise. She attended University of Maryland Global Campus between 2008 and 2010 and University of Tennessee Knoxville between 1986 and 1991.

Diane Bieri is Vice President and General Counsel for the AUA and its related entities. In this role, she provides guidance to the CEO, board members, and staff on a broad spectrum of legal, governance, and health policy matters. She heads the organization's Committee & Society Affairs department, supports the association's Board of Directors, Bylaws Committee, and Judicial & Ethics Committee and works closely with the AUA Quality (AQUA) Registry to help ensure the Registry’s legal compliance.

Prior to joining the AUA, Ms. Bieri was a partner at a multinational law firm based in Washington, D.C., representing clients on a variety of litigation, antitrust, and FDA compliance matters. Ms. Bieri also served previously as General Counsel of the Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers of America (PhRMA) representing the world’s leading research-based pharmaceutical and biotech companies. She is a graduate of the Georgetown University Law Center (J.D.) and the University of Pittsburgh (B.A. in Journalism and Political Science).
