This question is about bartender.

At what age can you become a bartender?

By Kate Swindlehurst - Mar. 13, 2023

In the United States, you can become a bartender as young as 18, depending on where you live. The legal age to begin working as a bartender is determined on a state level, so the exact age depends on where you live.

Most states allow people to work as bartenders once they turn 21, but some states allow 18-year-old bartenders, such as Vermont. Along with age requirements, it is often a requirement to finish some sort of alcohol awareness training, different from a bartending license, to begin working as a bartender.
