Yes, you can become a CNA in high school. Many schools offer accredited nursing assistant programs to help you complete the requirements for becoming a CNA while still in high school. These schools provide the necessary courses to prepare for and pass the CNA exam.

In most states, you must be at least 16 years old to become a CNA. Because of this, the programs offered at high schools for aspiring CNAs are often only offered to juniors and seniors and do have age requirements.

Some high schools may not offer programs directly for people to become CNAs, but they may have agreements with local community colleges that allow students to study while still in high school.
