No, Applebees does not drug test. The company, as a whole, does not have a company-wide policy in place for drug testing their employees. Many Applebees, however, are franchises that operate independently and have their own policies in place regarding drug testing.

From our research, most Applebee employees report that they were not asked to take a drug test as a condition of employment. The work contract does state, however, that employees are subject to random drug testing. However, they only request a drug test from an employee who comes to work appearing intoxicated.
