Bi-Mart uses a five-panel drug test that tests for cannabis, opiates, amphetamines, benzodiazepines, and PCP. As of August 2021, Bi-Mart no longer disqualifies job candidates with cannabis in their systems for the pre-employment drug test at most locations.
Bi-Mart has the right to ask an employee to take a drug test after a workplace accident. Failure to comply will result in termination. Bi-Mart also may randomly drug test its warehouse workers, especially those who operate heavy machinery and equipment. These are mouth swab tests that also look for alcohol, usually done on-site.
