Yes, Boeing hires felons for many of its positions. Certain criteria must be met for a convicted felon to obtain employment with Boeing, and some felonies, like murder, sex-related crimes, and assault, preclude a candidate from employment.

Boeing conducts background checks on all incoming employees. In many cases, the background checks are routine, and include the financial, educational, and criminal pasts of applicants. For these less sensitive positions, felons must be ten years clear of having served their last prison term.
