No, Burger King does not drug test employees before employment. However, while there is no company-wide requirement for drug testing either before or during employment, some independent franchise owners may require a pre-employment drug test for all employees.

For franchises that do drug test employees, it will likely be a standard five-panel drug test. The substances that may disqualify a person from employment include, but are not limited to cannabis, opiates, PCP, cocaine, and amphetamines.
