Does Jet drug test?
Yes, Jet drug tests. However, it does not appear that they do so consistently across positions. Candidates applying for positions that drive large trucks or operate heavy machinery are required to take a pre-employment drug test.
Employees working in drive positions or those who operate heavy machinery may also be randomly drug tested. Any employee involved in a workplace accident may also be required to take a drug test within 24 hours of the incident.
Jet uses a third party lab that can ask for either urine or hair samples. The drug test looks for the following:
Methamphetamines (meth, speed, ecstasy)
THC (cannabinoids, marijuana)
Alcohol
Cocaine
Opiates (heroin, opium, morphine)
Phencyclidine (PCP, angel dust)
