Does VMware hire felons?

By Zippia Team - May. 6, 2022

It is unclear whether VMware hires felons. From our research, we were not able to find any information from former or current employees at VMware who were hired despite a criminal record. There are some indications, however, that VMware may not be open to hiring someone with a felony.

One indicator as to whether or not a company is open to hiring felons is whether they have signed the Fair Chance Business Pledge. The pledge represents a call to action to improve their communities by eliminating barriers for those with a criminal record and creating a pathway for a second chance.

There is also no evidence of VMware posting job applications on felony-friendly job sites.

The company runs an extensive criminal background check on all new employees. Since VMware does not have an official policy regarding the hiring of someone with a felony, the best thing to do is to be honest about it during your interview.
