How much are 14- and 15-year-old's allowed to work?

Federal law states that 14- and 15-year-old's cannot work more than eight hours a day. They also cannot work more than three hours on a school day, and no more than 40 hours a week. They cannot work more than 18 per week while in school. Minors are not allowed to work before 7 a.m. or after 7 p.m.
