This question is about U.S. Secret Service.
You have to be 21 years old at the time of application and less than 37 years old at the time you receive a conditional offer in order to work at the U.S. Secret Service. Additional conditions of employment include:
U.S. citizenship
A current valid driver's license
Ability to obtain and retain a Top Secret Security Clearance
Uncorrected visual acuity of no worse than 20/100 binocular and corrected visual acuity of 20/20 or better in each eye
Hearing loss must not exceed 25 decibels (measured by an audiometer)
Firearm proficiency
Mobility agreement: willingness to accept assignments anywhere in the United States and overseas
Selective Service System registration
If you have previous service in Federal Civilian Law Enforcement positions that are covered by special law enforcement or firefighter retirement provisions (including early or mandatory retirement), you may receive a conditional offer of employment at up to 40 years of age.
