Yes, a National Health Care Association (NHA) certification is accepted in all fifty states. Not all states require certification to begin working, but in any case, it makes you a much more desirable candidate.

To obtain NHA certification, you must hold a high school diploma and pass an exam. To qualify to take the exam for NHA certification, you must complete either a recognized program or have equivalent work experience. The cost to then take the exam is $155.
