This question is about organizational development consultant.
You need a bachelor's degree to be an organizational development consultant. Specifically, a bachelor's degree in organizational development, business administration, education, psychology, or related field is required or at least highly recommended.
In addition to the degree requirement, prospective organizational development consultants must also have several years of work experience.
Most organizational development consultants have backgrounds in business, HR, training, and development, or psychology. Some employers prefer candidates with a master's in business administration (MBA) or a graduate degree in organizational development (OD).
In lieu of graduate school, there are also certificate programs that provide organizational development guidelines and processes. The Institute of Organizational Development, for example, offers an eight-month online organizational development that covers the following topics:
Employee Data Management
Executive Coaching
Leadership Development
Organizational Change Management
Organizational Development (OD)
Performance Management Programs
Training Needs Analysis
Training Program Development
