What is a Cell Culture?

Cell Culture is a term for the discussion and describing of the processes and systems by which, under controlled conditions and elements, cells are grown, generally in laboratory and medical environments. They can also be maintained through cell culture, once they have been taken out of their natural environment, whether that be an actual environment or a living creature.
