What is the dress code at Safeway?

The dress code for Safeway corporate headquarter positions is business casual. Examples of appropriate business casual clothing include collared shirts, dress pants (khakis, twill) or knee-length skirts, and cardigans or blazers.

The following attire is not allowed for Safeway employees:

• Corduroy pants

• Casual stretch pants or leggings

• Visible tattoos

• Facial piercings

• Facial hair other than mustaches

• Unnatural colored hair dye (blue, pink, orange, etc.)

Depending on the position and location, denim jeans may be allowed if they are not ripped or torn. All employees are also required to maintain a decent level of hygiene and avoid appearing disheveled or unkempt.
