What is the hiring process at American Airlines?

Candidates will next take an assessment test. These tests include both personality and situational judgment tests to assess your ability relative to the role that you are seeking with the airline.

After completing the assessment tests, candidates will participate in a group interview. Typically these are small groups of 6 or fewer applicants that are given a task to complete. American Airlines is looking for employees able to work well in a team setting and problem solve.

From the group interview, some candidates will be invited to one-on-one interviews where you will be asked about your past work experiences and how you might handle certain situations as an American Airlines employee.

Those hired at American Airlines report the hiring process to last three to five weeks. Candidates offered a position with the company must pass a drug test and background check.
