What is the hiring process at BlackRock?

You have 90 seconds to complete your virtual cover letter. A virtual cover letter is a video you make instead of a written cover letter. Make sure you have done the necessary preparation for this process beforehand.

The interview phase at BlackRock is a 3-stage process. First, you have phone screenings. You may have one to two of these when interviewing with BlackRock. Then there is a panel interview with team members who ask you questions. If you pass the panel interview, you are then interviewed by a hiring manager.

BlackRock performs a very thorough background check during the hiring process. This can take as long as three weeks.

The company also requires you to go through a drug screening.
