What should be included in a project analyst's resume?

Be sure to check the job description when deciding on which skills to focus on in the resume.

To get started, you will want to write a strong profile summary. In one to four sentences, touch on your project management experience, core skills, and key accomplishment.

For example, "Experienced project analyst competent in gathering and interpreting analytical data while focusing on detail and accuracy. Noted for delivering improved efficiencies and project cost savings by generating innovative ideas and tools that save time, money and enhance the work environment."

Next, you're going to want to elaborate on your specific experiences working in project management and data analytics. Like the profile summary, you'll want to convey your experience using real-world examples and achievements.

For example, "Managed activities within project timelines and maintain visibility with regular status updates to all external/internal parties."

Include an education section and certification section if you have your Project Management Professional (PMP) certificate or Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM). Don't forget to also include a list of your specific technical skills and any project management software you're familiar with, and some soft skills.
