POSITION SUMMARY

Responsibilities
Must demonstrate ability to meet the company standard for excellence in the areas of guest service, interaction with co-workers and uniform standards.
Follow the bar pre-shift notes and bar menus and provide service as described.
Serve alcoholic beverages following all proper procedures for serving alcoholic drinks including state/federal regulations pertaining to the distribution of alcohol (MAST 12 - Mandatory Alcohol Server Training required or ability to obtain within 2 weeks of hire).
Responsible to learn or have knowledge of various beer, wine varieties & spirits available, and be able to learn to suggestively upsell products to guests.
Must pour drinks responsibly in accordance with company standards for serving size.

POSITION SUMMARY: The Bartender is responsible for providing exceptional beverage service and light hors d'oeuvres to guests at the Oxford Collection of Hotels' evening reception or restaurant. This role ensures a welcoming and engaging atmosphere, offering personalized drink recommendations, crafting high-quality beverages, and delivering prompt, attentive service. The Bartender also maintains bar cleanliness, ensures proper stock levels, and upholds all sanitation and alcohol service regulations. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: All duties and responsibilities of this position are to be performed with exceptional caring and genuine guest service upholding the Oxford Collection of hotels standards and culture at all times.
Food and Beverage Service (60%):
Check the identification of all guests who appear to be under 26 years of age
Responsible for maintaining stock, cutting, and storing of all fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes, juices and other perishables daily to insure product quality
Input orders into a register at the point of sale and creates a check for each guest, including those served by other beverage servers, to maintain accountability of all beverages served
Receive cash from guests, make any change needed, verify validity of charges, record charges, and insure vouchers are properly executed, in order to balance all moneys
Lock up and stores all beverage, food and other equipment items, deposit cash drops and secures bank
Display knowledge of liquor laws, maintain the attractive presentation and sanitize all areas at least once daily, make suggestions for the reception and drink menus
Bus and clean tables after guest use
Perform all tasks in compliance with federal, state, local, food safety and sanitation requirements and Oxford Collection of hotels safety standards and security procedures. Be knowledgeable about and able to respond to emergency situations. Report any maintenance repairs needed immediately to their supervisor or General Manager.
Guest Relations (30%):
Greet guests in a courteous and friendly manner as they enter the lounge, exchanging their beverage voucher for a beverage as needed
Identify issues and resolve guest issues
Detect and act on customer inebriation, as trained
Maintain integrity, confidentiality, and sensitivity when working with both internal and external guests

About the Role:
As a Buca Bartender, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere for our guests. Minimum Qualifications:
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Proven experience as a bartender or in a similar role in a fast-paced environment.
Strong knowledge of drink recipes and mixology techniques.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certification in bartending or mixology.
Experience in fine dining establishments.
Familiarity with point-of-sale systems.
Responsibilities:
