Therapists in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) aim to reduce challenging behaviors and teach replacement skills to clients with autism spectrum disorders under the direct supervision of BCBAs. Board Certified Behavior Analysis (BCBAs) are masters-level clinicians that complete initial assessments, design treatment protocols, and provide ongoing training to behavior technicians throughout a client's therapy journey.
Our Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) provide direct therapy to children using the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis to improve the lives of children and their families. A day in the life of an RBT might look like:
Consistent, block scheduling that allows you to see 2-3 clients per day with no more than 2.5 hours with each client
1 hour lunch and 1 hour of “documentation” time daily for full-time staff
Implement therapy with a wide range of clients, typically aged 3-16 in 1:1, group, home, or community settings
Teach your clients important skills including ready-to-learn, play, functional living, communication and social skills
Follow detailed behavior intervention plans written by board-certified behavioranalysts (BCBAs) to help reduce challenging behavior and increase replacement skills

Compensation and Benefits:
Our Registered Behavior Technician position is tiered into three levels, with each level offering progressively greater responsibilities and clinical expertise. RBTs typically advance every six months, earning merit increases that reflect their professional development. Expected pay for this position is $16.00- $18.00/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills, and internal equity .

May attend other community outreach events to promote the program.
Trains and coaches group participants in group leadership skills.

Candidate qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's Degree in a social services or human service field preferred.
Commitment to complete agency-sponsored group facilitator training within 60 days of hire required.

A minimum of two years of experience in facilitating groups preferred.
Familiarity with local community resources preferred.
Demonstrates knowledge of group dynamics preferred.
A valid driver's license, current auto insurance and access to a reliable vehicle may be required to execute the position's responsibilities, depending on program assignment.
