Repair or replace defective parts on equipment. Dismantle machinery to access part(s) needing repair replaces/repairs defective parts and reassemble machinery. Lubricates and cleans working mechanisms on production equipment.
Respond to urgent needs to keep the production lines running.
Perform plant inspections on fire systems, storage freezers, refrigeration system, and record information into daily summaries.
Perform preventative maintenance work on equipment and ensure completion of work orders.
You will work varying hours and shifts, including overtime and weekends, to accommodate the production deadlines.
Must maintain regular attendance.
Report food safety problems to personnel with authority to initiate action.
Other maintenance responsibilities as assigned.
Skills and Attributes:
Must follow all plant work, safety, food safety, and GMP standards.
