This provides early visibility into what "good" looks like for BDR success, enabling faster, more confident scaling of the GTM organization.
Sustaining Top-of-Funnel Momentum: Ensuring top-of-funnel activity stays high as Account Executives (AEs) focus shifts to mid and end of funnel deals, supporting BILL's goal of maintaining triple-digit year-over-year revenue growth for Supplier Payments Plus by keeping the pipeline primed for sustained enterprise deal flow.
Fueling the Sales Engine with Qualified Pipeline: Warming up target accounts with strategic outbound efforts, executing account-based prospecting to reach multiple stakeholders, and pre-qualifying opportunities to ensure AE time is spent on high-likelihood deals. What You'll Do
Develop deep knowledge of the third-party risk management landscape, our competitive position, and customer pain points to authentically articulate the Whistic value proposition
Execute multi-channel prospecting campaigns (phone, email, LinkedIn, video) targeting key decision makers in IT security, GRC, procurement, and vendor management
Contact, qualify, and nurture inbound and outbound leads to identify high-fit opportunities and advance them through our sales process
Generate qualified meetings for our Account Executive team by uncovering business challenges and connecting them to Whistic's solution
Utilize Gong Engage, LeadIQ, Salesforce, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator to research accounts, personalize outreach, and track activity
Consistently deliver against monthly and quarterly quotas for qualified opportunities and meetings booked
Collaborate with Marketing and Sales to optimize messaging, refine ICP, and share insights from your frontline conversations
Proactively experiment with new approaches, share what's working, and contribute to our evolving sales playbook
What You'll Need
1-2 years of experience in B2B SaaS sales development, lead generation, or a similar quota-carrying role
Demonstrated ability to maintain 100+ touches per day across calls, emails, and social with meticulous CRM hygiene to match
Strong presence and active listening skills; you're engaging and articulate verbally, and clear and persuasive in writing
Experience managing a book of accounts, running multi-touch cadences, and knowing when to persist vs. when to pivot
Competitive, resilient, and self-motivated with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with evolving priorities
Hungry to learn, open to feedback, and committed to continuous improvement
Comfortable learning new tools quickly and leveraging data to inform your approach
Compensation
The base salary range for this position is $50,000-$60,000, with an OTE (on-target earnings) of $70,000-$80,000, including commissions.
