As a trusted business advisor, we take pride in supporting our clients and developing our people. We are seeking paid interns for the upcoming tax season to join our team at either our Jackson, MI or Lansing, MI office. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in tax preparation and learn from seasoned professionals. Responsibilities include: Collaborate with team members on assigned projects and tasks Review client data and assist in preparing tax work papers and returns Accurately and efficiently prepare individual and trust tax returns Ensure all outstanding items are addressed, documented, and workpapers are complete Required Skills/Abilities: Current undergraduate or graduate student enrolled in an accounting program, accounting major preferred. Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn. Ability to develop proficiency in tax preparation software and Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Adobe). Available to work a consistent schedule between 9 am - 5 pm, Monday - Friday and 9 am - 1 pm on Saturdays during tax season, for a minimum of 20 hours per week. GPA of 3.0 or higher required.
