Rover is seeking a seasoned in‑house attorney to join our legal team as a Counsel III (Senior Counsel). This is a highly visible, fast‑paced role with responsibilities that span both commercial and product counseling. The ideal candidate is a pragmatic, solutions‑oriented advisor who can move quickly to help teams close deals and ship features while managing legal risk thoughtfully and at scale.
Strategic Partnerships:
You will serve as the primary legal partner for Rover's strategic partnerships, working closely with Business Development, Procurement, and other stakeholders to structure, negotiate, and execute agreements that drive growth while managing risk. We are looking for an experienced negotiator who can differentiate between theoretical and material risk and translate legal issues into actionable business decisions.
Contracts:
In this hands‑on role, you will draft and negotiate a wide variety of agreements, including master services agreements, SaaS agreements, promotion and co‑marketing arrangements, data protection addenda, licenses, vendor contracts, and more.
Product Counseling:
You will translate the complex legal compliance requirements governing e‑commerce marketplaces into concise practical guidance for product teams, helping them design user flows and product functionalities that are clear, compliant, and trusted by customers.

Compensation:

RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Conservation CampCounselor (CCC) you will:

Position Overview:
This position is responsible for ensuring a safe, fun, engaging, and educational experience for all campers. Counselors live in a cabin of 6-12 campers, attend trainings and meetings, provide supervision and community expectations, create positive environment for campers and peers, and assist in the cleaning and maintenance of unit areas.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
1. This role will come in contact with campers, families, visitors, vendors and employees. Each of these persons may have visible and invisible qualities that makes that person unique. Camp SunSparrow Counselors are responsible for providing leadership support to Camp SunSparrow leadership as it pertains to SunSparrow volunteers and campers. Mad Science is currently hiring full\-time summer lead and assistant camp instructors from June through August! Camps run from 9:00 \- 3:00 pm, so you could be out of work as early as 3:15\/3:30pm almost every weekday this summer!
Facilitating Mad Science Camp programs requires high energy and working with children. But, you don't have to be a scientist to work with us! We'll teach you everything you need to know and all the Mad Science tricks before sending you off on your own.
Working with children from 1st\-6th grade, you will inspire the next generation of scientists through our innovative camp program. Our staff is made up of teachers, ed\-techs, retired teachers, artists, farmers, aspiring teachers, people seeking diverse work experience, and all of the above!
As a Lead staff, you will be in charge of facilitating our curriculum. Most of the time, you will have the aid of our Assistant Instructors. You teach just one topic for the entire summer. Some topics include Robotics, Chemistry, Engineering, Inventing, Anthropology, and more! We do our best to match you with your desired themed for the summer.
Your daily hours come to about 6.5\-7 hours. After the first week, we build proficiency in our process. Please note, at our Portland location we run Aftercare, this runs until 5:30pm and we provide additional compensation. We have some weeks built in as days off, with the options to assist others or take the week off.

You will be expected to supervise staff and ensure campers are being safe, making connections, and having a great time.
Key Responsibilities:
Promote a positive, inclusive environment that fosters fun, safety and meaningful experiences for all campers.
Work with Assistant Director of Teens and Trips to facilitate teen leadership programs.
Deliver progressive leadership programming, as part of camp's teen leadership programs.
Supervise, engage and build community with campers.
Lead safe, programmed, skill building, and fun off-site trips. Maintain awareness and supervision of campers. Follow guidelines for off-camp trips as explained in the Staff Manual.
Follow camp safety guidelines; follow National Park/Forest regulations and always abide by “leave no trace” guidelines.
Qualifications:
A commitment to valuing and promoting diversity, equity, and contributing to an inclusive working and learning environment.
Minimum 21 years of age.
One or more seasons of related experience required.
Positive attitude and previous experience with diverse populations.
Knowledge and skills in program activities and related equipment set-up, and the ability to instruct participants in age appropriate techniques.
Required: Experience in leading trip/travel program and/or personal outdoor experience.
Required: Wilderness First Aid or First Responder (must have by the start of staff training).
CPR, First Aid, AED certifications.
Able and willing to complete online Child Abuse Prevention training on first day, and other online and in-person training as required.
Must be able to pass Background and Reference checks (in accordance with the WA State Fair Chance Act).
*This is a Residential position that includes room and board.*
Starting Wage: $480 to $510 per week, depending on qualifications
