The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is responsible for all financial matters of Northern Nevada HOPES. The CFO will report to and work closely with the Chief Executive Officer and the Chief Operations Officer. In addition, s/he will partner with the senior leadership and the board of directors to develop and implement strategies across the organization. The CFO will oversee all compliance and recognition for government (federal and state) contracts and private grants. The CFO will oversee the Finance department for HOPES. S/he will also oversee the financial components of human resources such as 401k management, payroll and insurance coverage for employees. S/he will also oversee the Billing Department. Responsibilities
Lead the accounting team in completion of daily and monthly accounting tasks to ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP
Ownership of full cycle general ledger financial close process and related activities to ensure complete and accurate financials following U.S. GAAP, including managing/reviewing close activities such as journal entries and account reconciliations within the established close timeline
Manage the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial reporting for management and U.S. GAAP presentation, including tie-outs to underlying detail
Drive stock based compensation expense calculation and equity roll forward

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Financial Management
Oversee plant-level accounting operations, including general ledger, cost accounting, marketing analytics, and accounts payable/receivable
Maintain and enforce internal controls ensuring compliance with GAAP, corporate policies, and all local, state, and federal regulations.

Review, assess, and manage financial implications of vendor and supply contracts, including lease agreements, service contracts, and capital expenditures.
Partner with Legal and Operations teams to mitigate risk in contracts, litigation, and compliance matters
Leadership & Collaboration
Lead and mentor a team of plant accounting and finance professionals, fostering a culture of accuracy, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Partner cross-functionally with Operations, Supply Chain, Marketing, HR, and Corporate Finance to ensure financial alignment with ProCaps' mission and strategic goals.
Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on financial and operational matters
Requirements
MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (required)
Minimum 10+ years of progressive finance/accounting experience, including at least 5 years in a manufacturing environment with supervisory responsibilities.
Strong understanding of manufacturing cost accounting, GAAP compliance, and FP&A processes.
Proven experience with capital planning, financial modeling, and operational performance analysis.
Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Microsoft Office Dynamics, Power BI).

JOB SUMMARY:
ASTOUND is hiring elite Operational Financial Controllers to help run the business at the project level with clarity, control, and speed. These individuals are not traditional accountants - they are embedded business operators who understand how to manage margin, time, spend, risk, and reporting in a creative, fast-moving environment.
They will partner with Project Managers, Account Managers, and the Finance team to ensure real-time accuracy of job costing, cash flow forecasting, invoicing, and P&L performance per project. You are the financial pilot in the seat next to the delivery lead.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Project Setup & Governance
Create project financial structures (WBS, cost codes, budgets) in the ERP; validate estimates and margin targets before kickoff.
Establish change-order, PO, and approval workflows aligned to budget caps and client SOW.
Job Costing & WIP
Track labor, materials, freight, and 3rd-party services daily; reconcile timecards and receiving to POs.
Prepare monthly WIP/percent-complete schedules, cost-to-complete forecasts, and margin walk explanations.
Billing & Cash
Monitor deposits, progress, and milestone invoices; manage retention and close-out billing; resolve deductions promptly.
Partner with AR to minimize DSO and escalate collection risks early.
Variance & Performance
Lead weekly project financial reviews: budget vs. actuals, risk/opportunity register, and recovery plans.
Analyze drivers of variance (scope creep, rush fees, rework) and recommend corrective actions.
Controls & Compliance
Enforce purchasing and spend policies; verify 3-bid or preferred-vendor compliance where required.
Support revenue recognition (ASC 606), audit requests, and month-end close (journals, accruals, reconciliations).
Cross-Functional Enablement
Advise PMs on pricing add-ons, change orders, and schedule impacts; quantify trade-offs for client approvals.

QUALIFICATIONS:
5-8+ years in project accounting/controlling within job-based environments (exhibits, events, custom fabrication, construction, or manufacturing).

First Majestic acquired the Jerritt Canyon Gold Mine from Sprott Mining Inc. on April 30, 2021. The Jerritt Canyon property contains 30,821 hectares of mining claims located in the mining friendly state of Nevada. The Jerritt Canyon deposit was discovered in 1972 and first gold production from the property occurred in 1981.
The Jerritt Canyon Gold District is located in Elko County, northeastern Nevada. The Carlin-type gold mineralization at Jerritt Canyon is hosted by silty carbonate or carbonaceous siliciclastic rocks originally deposited as shelf sedimentary rocks during the Paleozoic Era.
The Opportunity
The Controller is the senior site financial resource, reporting directly to the General Manager and with accountability to the Corporate Finance Team. The Controller will be available to help all functional department heads and assist them with their financial information needs. This role will lead the accounting teams efforts at an advanced project gold mine and a minting facility. This is an on-site position based at our mine site. The role will also require regular travel to our minting facility. Candidates must be comfortable with commuting between sites as needed.
Responsibilities
Leading the accounting staff and being accountable for site level general accounting.
Manage the Accounting, and Information Technology Departments
Participate in developing department goals and objectives.
Maintain control over the information system and its integrity.
Help develop and recommend annual budget and compare performance with operating plans and standards.
Oversee the short-range and long-range cost forecasts and operating plans, provide departmental financial updates, and make financial recommendations.

Reporting to the Vice President for Finance and Operations (VPFO), the Controller plays a critical role in ensuring the financial integrity, accountability, and strategic stewardship of the College's resources.
This position provides leadership and oversight for GBC's financial operations, including Accounting, Disbursements, Student Accounts, Travel, Cashiering, Budgeting, Grant Financial Management, and related business services. Key Responsibilities
Provide strategic leadership and daily management for all financial operations of the College, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and compliance with federal, state, and NSHE (Nevada System of Higher Education) policies.
Supervise and mentor business office staff across areas including accounting, grants, budgeting, travel, accounts payable/receivable, and student financial services.
Prepare and oversee annual financial statements and supporting documentation in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
Manage year-end financial close processes and coordinate with external auditors.
Oversee internal controls, investment management, cash handling, and financial reporting.
Serve as the institutional lead for compliance with purchasing, travel, and fiscal policies.
Collaborate with GBC leadership, system administrators, and external partners to ensure fiscal accountability and continuous improvement of financial systems.
Participate in system-wide and state-level financial meetings and committees.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting (CPA required)
Five years of progressive financial management experience preferred
Two years in higher education, government, or nonprofit accounting is highly desirable.
Master's degree in Business Administration or related field is highly desirable.
Proven knowledge of financial systems, GAAP, internal controls, and governmental or fund accounting principles.
Proficiency with modern financial systems, reporting tools, and spreadsheet applications.
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills with a customer service orientation.
High degree of integrity, sound judgment, and commitment to ethical financial management.
Work Environment
The Controller is based on the main Elko campus and works closely with leadership and staff across all GBC locations. Occasional travel to statewide or national meetings is required. The position involves managing multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced, professional environment.

This is a 12 month “A” contract, 12 month contracts are used for year round programs.
The budgeted salary range for this position is $86,445 - $125,000. Salary is based on relatable education and experience, internal equity and budgets.
