This position may also assist skilled trades and perform other duties as assigned. **Responsibilities** Essential functions will include: + Clean and prepare construction sites to eliminate hazards. + Erect and dismantle scaffolding, shoring, braces, traffic barricades, ramps, and other temporary structures. + Load, unload, and distribute building materials, tools, and machinery to appropriate locations. + Measure, mark, and record layout dimensions for construction activities. + Operate pumps, compressors, or generators to power tools, equipment, or move materials. + Mix, pour, and spread concrete using portable cement mixers. + Control and direct traffic around work zones. + Dig trenches or ditches, backfill excavations, and compact or level earth using hand and pneumatic tools.
